In our trainee programme at TenneT, you can focus on one of three exciting clusters: Energy Systems & Markets, Build & Maintain, and Enabling the Business. Your main focus will be on one of the clusters. At the same time we encourage you to try out your talents and ambitions in one of the other areas and discover something new. You will receive an invitation to the online recruitment test, where we encourage you to answer honestly. It consists of a performance test and a personality test, primarily aimed at supporting your development. Once you have completed both tests, you have successfully passed the first round!

Our 18-month trainee programme starts every year on 1 April and 1 October and consists of three parts: assignments, trainee activities and personal development.

Individuality: You actively shape the programme aligned with your individual needs and interests. You have the opportunity to decide for yourself in which teams and at which locations you would like to work during the three different programme phases.
Responsible: You will actively contribute to the energy transition through responsible tasks. You will take initiative to get familiar with TenneT and the energy industry from different perspectives.
Internationality: Our job rotation allows you to make valuable contacts across divisions and countries. The trainee activities expand your knowledge as well as your network.
Strong trainee network: In addition to learning through practical experience, you will benefit from special development programmes that will strengthen your communication, consulting and personal skills.
