You will actively contribute to the energy transition through responsible tasks. You will take initiative to get familiar with TenneT and the energy industry from different perspectives.
Internationality:
Our job rotation allows you to make valuable contacts across divisions and countries. The trainee activities expand your knowledge as well as your network.
Strong trainee network:
In addition to learning through practical experience, you will benefit from special development programmes that will strengthen your communication, consulting and personal skills. You will be supported by your trainee coordinator, your project teams and, above all, your diverse trainee groups, who will accompany you on your development path.
Our trainee positions for October 2027 are expected to be posted in the spring (April/May) of 2027. As long as a position is posted, you can apply directly using the online application form.

Employment acceptance opportunities: Very good chances of being hired
(guaranteed employment after graduation for one year under the collective agreement; we have been able to take on the majority of our former trainees for permanent employment)
Financial support: If necessary, we will support you with up to €500/month for rental expenses.
Individual support guaranteed: Our team of trainers will provide you with targeted support for your exam preparations.
We also cover the costs of any potential family trips home and reimburse you for any extra kilometres to the vocational school.

Your digital equipment: We will give you your own company notebook and company mobile phone so that you can work flexibly and be properly networked.
We are currently refining our trainee program to better align it with the demands of tomorrow’s energy sector. All positions for 2026 have already been filled. We will resume hiring in 2027. These openings will be posted on job portals as appropriate.
