And you are probably curious to find out more about your new employer and receive important information about your first day at work.
That’s why we are inviting you to ‘preboarding’. You can download our onboarding app before your first day of work and start learning about TenneT. A wealth of information and our onboarding podcast will prepare you properly for your first day and your first phase with us.
Together with all new colleagues who start at the same time as you, we will welcome you personally on your first day at one of our main locations and will ensure that you get off to the best possible start with us from then on. We want you to feel at home right from the start.
On the first day, you will meet many of your colleagues, receive an initial introduction to our work environment and culture, visit your campus and familiarise yourself with our networks.
Your second work day will be completely virtual using your new work equipment. For all new employees at TenneT Germany, this second day starts with a board presentation. Afterwards, internal speakers will provide further insights into the company’s core business, and you will receive a thorough introduction to the basic systems.
You will then be properly equipped to meet your division and, above all, your teammates on the third day.
Have you already used our onboarding app for your preboarding? Appical will also accompany you on your remaining journey and guide you through your initial phase at the company. With video messages, information to read up on, links to training courses and the continuation of the onboarding podcast, you won’t miss any important topics for your start at the company. In the first month, we focus on important basics, such as handling internal company information, safety culture and networking. The app will accompany you throughout your entire probationary period to ensure that you always receive all the necessary and important information at the right time.
Even if you’ve been with the company for a while and the most important stages of your onboarding journey are long behind you – your journey is far from over. We don’t expect you to be fully informed after a few weeks, because learning is an ongoing process and there is so much to learn about TenneT. While the basic onboarding journey concludes with the end of your probationary period, your manager, your buddy and your team will continue to stay by your side to keep you well informed.
