For the 1st of July 2021 for Lehrte (GER) location - Lehrte with its almost 44,000 inhabitants, its diverse leisure activities and numerous shopping opportunities, the city is particularly attractive for families. The close proximity to the state capital Hanover ensures the big city variety. Its center is in 16 kilometers distance from the Lehrter city center.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • The preparation of the technical performance specifications based on concepts provided by Asset Management is a main part of your rol
  • You will give support for the approval process and regarding contract negotiations
  • You monitor contractors with respect to the follow-up of SHE regulations
  • You will support the project management for risk and contract management
  • You participate in design meetings and review the technical documentation as well as providing necessary technical documentation regarding defined time frames and content
  • The support in preparation of decision proposals for technical questions, not specified installation or component de-signs and all technical changes is a part of your job
  • You take care for the implementation and quality checks during building and installation phases regarding pre-conditions and guidelines (a.o. contracts, standards, specifications)
  • The technical steering of relevant site inspectors, regulations and specifications, including selective construction site visits are in your responsibility
  • You take care for a strong interface management towards the Sub-project Lead TE Auxiliary Systems, other Technical Specialists, authorities (incl. licensing departments) and site inspectors
  • You give support with your profound knowledge in SHE design and commissioning of assigned systems

Your Profile

  • You have an master degree (University/Polytechnic) in electrical or mechanical engineering or comparabl
  • You have gained a relevant professional experience in the above mentioned fields of responsibility in an offshore environment, preferably in the energy sector
  • A comprehensive background in Nitrogen systems/Fire extinguishing systems/water-, water mist- and foam/Fire Fighting systems/ Inert gas/Fire detection and alarm systems/process automation (system wise) is an advantage
  • Good verbal and written expressiveness and fluent written and spoken business English and German is not a problem for you
  • You deliver structured working methods, own contact and team capability, you are independent and self-initiative
  • The position requires a high level of mobility and assertiveness
  • The ability to work on- and offshore (AWMF-standard) completes your profile
